Just Opened in April 2025: New Restaurants, Cafes and Bars in Singapore

Nestled at the iconic corner of Club Street and Ann Siang Hill, Club Street Laundry and Hup San Social Club are redefining what it means to dine in Singapore’s historic district. More than just a nod to nostalgia, this modern-day destination is a reimagining of heritage through food, drink, and storytelling.

Helmed by acclaimed chef Justin Hammond (formerly of Neon Pigeon and Underdog Inn), Club Street Laundry offers modern Australian cuisine inspired by global travel, fermentation, and flame-forward cooking. Open from Tuesday to Saturday, this all-day café-restaurant invites diners into a space where history and innovation blend seamlessly — a tribute to the venue’s former life as Hup San Laundry.

Hidden just below the surface, Hup San Social Club is a sultry, intimate 12-seater cocktail bar led by award-winning mixologist June Baek. It’s more than a bar — it’s an emotional experience. Every drink is designed to evoke a feeling, and every visit is an invitation to unwind, explore, and connect.

Together, these two venues form a multi-sensory tribute to Singapore’s immigrant roots — rich in story, layered in meaning, and deeply current.
